IFA ROTORION — North America LLC is a direct supplier of propshafts for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles for the NAFTA area (U.S., Canada and Mexico). This affiliate of IFA ROTORION is the only U.S. provider with its own varnishing facilities.

On a production area exceeding 10.500 square meters, the Charleston staff assembles about 1.4 million propshafts per year. There is also a development and sales office in Novi, Michigan, near Detroit. IFA ROTORION employs some 410 people in the United States. Clients of IFA ROTORION — North America LLC include General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Daimler and Dodge.

The company was established in 2002 as an independent sales and production division of MTU Friedrichshafen and Daimler AG. State-of-the-art propeller shafts have been assembled on-site here since 2004. Following its sale to IFA-Maschinenbau GmbH, Rotorion is now part of the IFA-Group.
